We just got back home a little bit ago from a whirlwind trip to Charleston for the day…to deliver Annabelle Baskets, first, and then to head to the beach to take some great pictures of the boys in the sand in their matching blue seersucker/red lobsters outfits. We accomplished the first task, perfectly. However, the second didn’t turn out quite like I envisioned.
It began with a nice walk out to the ocean through the dunes…
Then, Wyatt spotted a tide pool…
Scott told him he could get his feet wet.
But, if you know little boys like I know little boys, it was not going to stop there.
He got a little more braver seeing that the water was nice and warm and splashed a little more.
And a little more…
Until he just decided to dive right in!
Luke hung out watching his big brother play while on his daddy’s shoulders…
Baby bear got a little play time in, too…just in our arms!
I wasn’t about to let him get soaking wet, too…especially since I had nothing to dry them off with or a change of clothes.
So, Luke’s burp cloth came in handy as a towel…
And Wyatt rode home in his birthday suit!
So much for the pictures I had in mind…maybe next time!

That's funny!
They may not be the pictures you had in mind, but they sure are adorable!
I love it!! What a fun memory for Wyatt!
Well..... I think these pictures are PRICELESS!! ...
RHonda :)
Good thing you live close to the beach! Those pictures are great... your new camera is really capturing some perfect shots! And I know I say this all the time, but seriously, Luke must be the happiest baby EVER! And his hair... is it turning RED?!?! So cute!
