If you’ve followed along for any length of time, you’ve realized that my love for photography has grown…a lot! Well, I contacted an old co-worker from our pre-baby days (she has amazing pics on facebook which were a big giveaway that she has worked hard to perfect her passion) to see if she could recommend any local clubs or classes to take. She has graciously offered to take me under her wing & teach me!!! I am so excited! We’ve got a date set for next week!
I took these pictures yesterday and posted them to facebook…
Then, she offered to “work” a little on this one which I knew needed it….
And look at the difference after she photoshopped it… his eyes just POP!
I am so thankful that I’ve got a husband who sees the need in having great photography equipment (he just spoiled me with a Canon 50D!) & friends who love taking amazing pictures of their babies as much as I do! What I would give to have had the ability to take pictures of Annabelle like this…I cling to every one we have.
Y’all may get overloaded with pictures in the near future…just a friendly warning! :)

How awesome! Id love to take a class one day. We have photoshop elements but id also love to have the full photoshop suite! I love me some pics! :) can't wait to see what you learn!!!
Love the photos! I am just dying to get a new camera. Hope you have a great weekend:)
Lucky YOU! I will be excited to see your evolving photography! Maybe you can start a business like Suzie did! You are a quick learner.. I can tell!
I had the kids' pictures taken this morning (for the 2nd time in the past month... Vance just puts up with me!) and I visited with the photographer about helping teach me a few things. She said she has occasionally done some classes to help "moms" who want to learn more about their cameras. She said she would help me with some one on one lessons though! I told her I also need a lesson on Photoshop because I honestly cannot understand it at ALL!! She doesn't have time until she gets through all of her Fall sessions, but she told me the first thing I should do is buy another lens. Vance just sighed :) So I understand what you mean about having a supportive husband... we are lucky!
Hope you and your babies have a fun Halloween! I"ll be anxious to see pictures! I just finished up my kids' costumes (I bought them and added a few embellishments). Noah is a magician and Emily and Molly are the bunny rabbits :) I figured this might be the last year I can get away with a matching theme for all 3 of them!
Happy Halloween!
I'm so jealous!!! That's awesome! You definitely have an eye for it. You're going to have so much fun! Keep the pictures coming!! Love ya :)
