I’m a traditional gal…I like knowing what to expect and then it happening exactly as planned. I’ve been working on this…for my husband’s sake. ;) Anyhow, I got caught up yesterday looking at other blogs with their Christmas decor and I was inspired! I usually stick to white lights, red, green & gold, very traditional decor. See?
FYI…Wyatt told me this morning that our tree looks like a chicken. I told him to think of it as a Gamecock and maybe he’ll like it more! :)
Well, yesterday I saw lots of other fun colors while blog hopping and decided that perhaps it was time to venture out a little and walk on the wild side! I loaded up the boys & we hit Michael’s for some clearance Christmas goodies….a tree for $20, ornaments at 60% off (which was barely a dollar each) and some more bright & cheerful stuff. We surprised Scott when he came home with what he’s always wanted…a Charlie Brown tree. Well, close enough anyways. What do y’all think?
Apparently, Wally likes it, too…he must have fallen asleep climbing up it last night!
I have to admit…it felt good to do something different. I loved being able to use bright colors…and any excuse to decorate with pink is very welcomed!

adorable! i love it! :) I love that Wally fell asleep in it last night! ha... :)
Love it! So merry and bright :) I admire your ability to 1) go to Michaels with children and 2) put up another tree! I'm so exhausted this year, I barely got any decorations up!
By the way, the pics below of sweet Baby boy are PRECIOUS... love him!
