A sweet tradition with sweeter friends...the boys throwing football and the girls posing for pictures. Who are we kidding...the apple picking is kept to a minimum and we usually just end up filling up a bushel bag back at the shed when we are done playing. But, it sure does make for a lovely fall afternoon! Thankful for a fun family day trip to the mountains...a stop in Saluda, NC to eat a yummy outdoor lunch and meeting up with our friends {who we typically vacation with at the beach} to finish out the day. Now, to fill our tummies with everything apple! Even S found some Toe Jam & Moonshine Jelly in the mountains that he wanted to try out...so I'll just let him do both and I'll trust his opinion. ;)
