{Make a Wish!}

Several months ago we received a letter in the mail that our Panda girl had been nominated to receive a WISH!  I sat for a few moments in the driveway with that letter in my hands weeping...so thankful yet so sad.  It's a gift to receive such a tremendous gift in the form of a wish trip but also not one that you'd ever want your child to qualify for...and more so given that we had already at one time years ago knew what it was that made you eligible...being medically fragile.  I never saw us walking this road with another daughter...and am so thankful that we are the ones who get to journey through with her.  It's an honor to watch her grow and bloom!

Our wish grantors came to talk to AG {with her Bubba's help translating her words a bit} and see what may be the perfect wish for her!

She mentioned lots of things relating to mermaids and princesses and castles and dolphins...she played stickers with the grantors and had them both fully decorating in Disney characters all over their faces in minutes of arriving...

And...after a series of questions and coloring and choosing her favorites out of photos...they announced..."You are going to DISNEY WORLD!!!"

From my understanding, this includes an amazing Give Kids the World Village to stay at...several days at Disney Resorts and one at Sea World {her dolphins made it in the wish, too!}.

We are thrilled for our sweet girl!  She will always walk a road of doctors appointments and surgeons visits and sedation and IVs.  She is brave and teaches me more each time we walk in yet another specialist's office.  God made her fearfully & wonderfully and the best part of being her Mommy is watching just how incredible He knit her together to conquer this "medically fragile" road she is on...she is fearless and strong and fights so hard...and knows where her help comes from.

We've got a few things to do before this BIG trip but gracious is it going to be incredible!
