In honor of Panera Bread becoming a corporate sponsor with Make A Wish, our local Panera offered to host a "Sending Party" for our Panda girl...complete with the cutest Little Mermaid party you've ever seen! We were able to invite a few extra family members, too. AG was in mermaid heaven with all the props, gifts, candy and life-sized balloons. The two ladies with Panera truly went above and beyond to make this a truly once in a lifetime experience. A few of the ladies with MAW SC corporate office were there to see us off on our Disney adventure and give us the last details we needed to board our flights. From the moment we learned that AG had been nominated for a wish, it's been tears one moment and laughter the next. You truly never want your child to be chosen but it is such a blessing in the same breath. What a special evening sending us off to our sweet girl's wish trip!
AG was given bags and bags of goodies including not one but TWO mermaid tail blankets! She also got outfits and a book bag and so much more!
They must have heard that she loves Moana too! Seeing the joy in her eyes at each turn was the best gift!

I had never seen a balloon that literally walks on the ground! It was nearly 4 ft tall! The girls LOVED it!
With our new friend, Rhonda, who has walked us through this entire process! She was there nearly a year ago to help figure out the perfect WISH for our girl!
We were so thankful to get to invite a few grandparents too! It was such a gift to have Scott's grandmama there...my children's great grandmother at nearly 93 years old! We just missed Pappy but he was out of town for work. SO much fun!
