{That's a Wrap!}

 ...well, at least for the younger 3!  The big one still has a week left of his Advanced Biology lab science course ahead of him so he's super close, too!

But, the three that have been home with me {no lab science courses requiring them to go elsewhere just yet!} are DONE!  We completed 5th, 2nd and 4K and learned all about Asia, Europe, Oceans, Space, North American Birds, went in-depth into Advent and Passover & had the BEST time together!

We spent lots of mornings at the kitchen island hitting the basics {spelling, grammar, math and Bible} and then concluded our morning time on the sofa reading something lovely and classic...like C.S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia, Island of the Blue Dolphins, Number the Stars, A Wrinkle in Time, The Kitefighters, Inside Out and Back Again, The Family Under the Bridge and The Secret Garden just to name a few.

Then, we play and gather back together for our unit studies.  We took deep dives into 20 countries in Asia and I fell more in love with that gorgeous continent than even before.  We were reminded and learned even more about our indescribable our Creator is when He made the heavens...and all the planets, too!  We especially loved our journey through Europe and gaining more insight into some of the most well-known landmarks.  Oceans was probably one of our favorites, too...and we easily could spend another cycle doing it again!

Bear's storytelling and writing grew by leaps and bounds.  Panda girl began reading and flew through math so quickly that she's already begun next years curriculum.  Dubble Bubble began learning her letters and numbers and is very excited that she'll have more work next year {truly, she adores school more than I ever expected a child to!}.  And Bubba, who is not in any of these photos since he was at his lab science course when I took them, will officially be a high schooler in college next year.  He has completed more than enough to graduate by the state's standards but ours are just a wee bit higher.  ;)  He will dual enroll and earn additional high school credit as well as college credits to transfer to wherever The Lord leads.

And I completed my 12th year homeschooling...a journey that I never ever planned on taking and is even better than I could have imagined it would be when my husband threw out that idea nearly 14 years ago.  God is faithful.  Always.  And I just adore looking at all He has done and the most precious, tiny one He gave us to open my heart to ever entertaining the idea of teaching my children at home.  Annabelle is forever the child that changed it all and we couldn't be more grateful.
