{July: Part Seven}

...continuing our beach walk...what do we find washed up, but an egg of course!

AJ just had to take it back and look it up...and wrap it up...and pray it would hatch.  Turns out, it was a seagull egg.

Walk over and headed back...this place is sacred...

Someone had the brilliant idea to get a Blackstone griddle for Scott as a fun gift...and let him do all the grilling for our beach trip!  He also treated us to eggs and sausage.  Best gift ever!  I prepped for a week solid all the food and he cooked it!

The glassware in this place is quite random.  So the kids are having fun trying all the glasses...Bear! This kid likes to make you laugh!

I'm pretty sure megladon left this one behind.  AJ found a huge sharks tooth!

More walks...this time with friends!

And a sea turtle hatching! It was a bit traumatic for some folks though...after one of the little guys worked it's way to the surf it was prompted picked up by a seagull that then gave us all a victory lap in the air with the little turtle hanging out of its beak.  Circle of life at its finest!

And this little one had a broken arm...so we were all in agreement that the Turtle Patrol should have immediately taken it to the hospital and not released it to die.  Poor guy...he was crawling crookedly to his death.

Ahhhhh.....

The tide was high but that didn't stop us from sunset photos and fishing!

Another day, another walk...and so many treasures from the sea.

It's date night! We always try to sneak away one night of each trip to just have time together.

Always wrestling with boys around...

The girls loved that we matched!  And I did too!

Family photo!

This one spends more time upside down than right side up!
